Water Feature & Pond Management

Water features are wonderful additions to any landscape but require special care to keep them working properly, clean and beautiful in all seasons. Whether you have a fountain, waterfall or pond, each has unique maintenance requirements essential to maintaining optimal performance.

During the warm months, we’ll keep your water features clean and clear of leaves, debris, and algae. To ensure smooth operation, we may need to professionally treat the water with the appropriate chemicals or clean and change filters. At times, more extensive draining, cleaning and pressure washing, pump replacing, flow adjusting, line flushing and re-mortaring may be needed. No matter the specific situation, we put together the appropriate maintenance programs and schedules to keep everything clean, beautiful and providing that soothing sound you’ve come to enjoy.

When winter arrives, we’ll fully winterize your water feature and shut it down. If it operates throughout the winter, we install and adjust de-icer.

In many cases, water features are framed by plantings and light fixtures which complete the entire effect. As part of our services, we  take the extra time to make sure the plants are pruned  for proper softening and framing of the feature, and light fixtures accent appropriately in the  evening.
