Director of Marketing & Human Resources

Jessica is the Director of Marketing & Human Resources at The Pattie Group. She also handles some IT along with supporting the administration team. With a B.S. in Marketing Management and a minor in Entrepreneurship from The University of Akron, the company and the position were a perfect fit for Jessica. She has a passion for everything related to marketing and business. Jessica prides herself on being organized and persistent when it comes to accomplishing tasks. She has always loved the outdoors and growing up in the country afforded her many different experiences. She applies those experiences to not only her everyday life but also the work she does at The Pattie Group.

Todd McMahan

Training & Development Manager

As a former public school teacher who pivoted to be a seasoned owner of a landscape construction company, Todd brings a unique, priceless perspective and approach to his work that focuses on growth and development for all of our staff. All throughout the year, Todd helps to arrange and often facilitates internal, hands-on trainings that cover everything from dormant pruning to blueprint reading. On a day-to-day basis, Todd is frequently out on job sites with crews, providing individualized on-the-job training. With tireless energy and enthusiasm, Todd loves to connect with all of our staff and share his passion for our industry’s work. This is on full display on everyone’s first day with us – a day we dedicate to having new hires complete thorough onboarding and training and safety overviews with Todd. From people who are on their first day with us to those on day 1,000 and beyond, Todd is dedicated to supporting employees in their pursuit of professional growth and development, including gaining industry certification. For his part, Todd has earned his CLT from NALP in hardscape installation and is certified in drainage, dormant pruning, and CPR. When not serving as both resident coach and cheerleader, Todd enjoys some quieter pursuits including reading, hiking, and spending time with his wife Lisa and their corgi Georgie and cats Oliver and Lily. Todd also collects flashlights. Be sure to ask him about his collection! 

 

 

 

Marsha Hayes

Financial Controller 

Marsha’s passion for accounting and tenacity to solve any problem that comes her way have quickly made her a valuable asset to the administration and management teams and The Pattie Group overall. She earned her BS in Finance from Kent State University. As our Financial Controller, Marsha is committed to ensuring the accuracy of all financial statements and the administration team’s efficient use of QuickBooks and other bookkeeping programs. Ahead of joining The Pattie Group team, Marsha really connected with our Family First core value. She thinks that our employees are what sets us apart, serving as our best assets that allow us to do the best work possible. At home, Marsha loves camping and riding dirt bikes with her husband. When the weather turns and there’s snow on the ground, she enjoys sewing and embroidering.

Contract Support Specialist 

With stellar attention to detail, solutions-oriented customer service and a strong drive to improve and streamline processes for everyone, Justina excels in her role as one of our dedicated Contract Support Specialists. Since joining The Pattie Group, Justina has fit right in with her drive to learn, problem-solve and ensure we go above and beyond with exceeding clients’ expectations. Justina enjoys the true family focus that’s present throughout the company. She appreciates how valued every employee is as we all work together to provide the greatest experience and service to our clients. Whether it’s horse-back riding, 4-wheeling, fishing or camping, in her free time, Justina can often be found outside with her fiancé, two kids and three dogs.  

 

Mandee Young

Mandee Young

Marketing & HR Assistant 

Mandee’s previous experience as an account manager at a Cleveland advertising agency uniquely prepared her to excel at juggling the variety of responsibilities she owns in her role as Marketing & HR Assistant. Her work experience is complimented by a degree in Adverting & Public Relations and minors in Leadership Studies and Journalism from Marietta College, all of which she leverages to remain diligently organized, support co-workers, and develop meaningful ways to engage with new and current clients and employees. Mandee feels her role at The Pattie Group perfectly combines her personal skillset with her love of the outdoors, plants and maintaining the outdoor space at her own home. Outside of work, Mandee enjoys volunteering, competing in trivia nights, baking with her boyfriend, and planning her next great trip.
